I was born and raised in Pakistan, where I grew up on a diet that was heavily meat-based. Like many around me, I hardly gave greens much attention — a slice of tomato here, a sprinkle of onion there, maybe a few lettuce leaves for color. Salads were never considered a “real” meal — just a side dish or a decorative afterthought.
Years later, life took me to Germany, where my perspective began to shift. Through a personal journey of health, awareness, and exploration, I discovered the incredible potential of salads. Not just as light starters or diet food — but as complete, satisfying meals packed with flavor, nutrition, and balance.
